Best Practices

Best Practices are those practices that have been shown to produce superior results and judged as exemplary, good, or successfully demonstrated, these practices are then adapted to fit a particular organization. Organizations that are serious about improving their performance, financial or otherwise, continually search for better practices. The fastest and easiest way to improve is to compare and learn from other successful organizations. Most organizations use or have used best practices at some point, consciously or not. Over the years best practices emerge, and are later surpassed and proved inefficient as the world and the way business is done constantly changes, this is why so many high-performing organizations adopt a culture of continuous improvement. We would like to help you in finding the missing pieces by providing you with several best practices which may be replicated.

If you are aware of a Best Practice that may be beneficial to others, we invite you to submit the following information. Please note that we may be unable to post all stories we receive, but we will make every effort to post as many as possible, please send your story to phosea@purdue.edu
